Given that I frequently refer to my research in my blog posts, I thought I should dedicate a separate page to explaining exactly what that means.  Usually, when I'm referring to research, I am referring to things that I have read from other websites, in books, in articles, in the Journal of Cosmetic Science archives, from forums, and from talking to people.  Rarely, am I performing my own scientific experiments.  I do not have a research lab hidden in my basement; so, to the extent I do any "experiments", they are things I can do with normal household supplies and my own eyes.  I also read ingredients and make comparisons.

I do have a Bachelor of Science, but I took organic chemistry over a decade ago.  I am not a licensed hair technician, beautician, stylist, cosmetologist.  I am also not an expert, though I am trying to become one regarding my own hair.  Just like anyone reading my blog, I am still in the process of figuring it all out.  Thus, when reading information on my blog, still keep in mind that you have to do what is right for your own hair.  Your hair may not have the same properties as mine, and products that work on my hair may not work on yours.
